First, here's a small piece on Eric Young and Jr.

Colorado Springs: Zach Parker picked up his second win in the 4-3 victory. He went 7 innings, allowed 3 hits and 1 R, and K'ed 8. Luis A. Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with a double. Sean Barker came in as a pinch-hitter for Jorge Piedra and had a triple in the 8th to ensure the win.

Tulsa: Joe Koshansky hit his 14th homer as the Drillers won 4-2 last night. Stewart, Thigpen and Bernier all added RBI. Seth Smith hit his 18th double and Tulowitzki also collected a hit. Stewart has 30 RBI and Koshansky 46. Marc Kaiser went 8 innings and allowed 2 R (0 ER), while Manuel Corpas picked up his 17th save.

Modesto: The Nuts won a wild one yesterday 10-9 as Jeff Dragicevich reached base on a  fielding error, which allowed Justin Nelson to break the 9-9 tie in the bottom of the 9th. Doc Brooks had a grand slam in the 3rd and Neil Wilson had a solo shot in the 6th. Matt Miller went 3-for-5 and picked up his 55th RBI. Ching-lung Lo went 6 innings, allowed 5 R (3 ER), walked 2 and K'ed 5. He did not factor into the decision. Scott Beerer blew his second save but picked up his 1st win.

Asheville: The Tourists also won, 6-4, after a decent performance by Brandon Durden (4-1). He went 6 innings, scattered 7 hits, allowed 4 runs, walked none and K'ed 5. Alan Johnson did indeed pick up his 1st save after getting the final out with men on 2nd and 3rd. Jason Van Kooten (13), Cole Garner (12), Travis Becktel (13) and Eric Young (45) all stole bases. Becktel (who also had a triple) and Garner both had 2 RBI in the game. Carte and Nelson each had a hit, Becktel, Van Kooten, Cuadrado and Paulk two apiece. Garner had a 3-for-5 night.
