This 1st half overview by the RMN let's us know that there are 8 untouchables in the farm system.

Colorado Springs: Justin Hampson and Nate Field both appeared in the Triple A All-Star game for the PCL. They combined for 1 2/3 innings pitched and put zeros straight across their stat lines in an otherwise dismal game for the PCL.

Tulsa: It took a four-run 9th inning for the Drillers to win but they did, 9-6. Joe Koshansky hit his 22nd homer and now has 69 RBI. Joe Gaetti also added 3 RBI, and two of them came in the ninth on a single. Zach Parker struggled with the zone as he walked five and Josh Newman picked up the win despite blowing the save.

Modesto: Modesto won 8-6 in extra innings against the Rockies' former Cal League affiliate Visalia. Ching-lung Lo had an interesting start as he gave up 5 runs in 7 innings, but also K'ed 7. Scott Beerer recorded his 10th save. Visalia's Evan Longoria had a 3-for-5 night. For the Nuts, Wimberly, Davies, Miller, Wilson, Valdez and Herrera all had RBI. Miller has 73 RBI now.

Asheville: Not a good start for Xavier Cedeno this time out. In 1/3 of an inning he allowed 7 runs and the Tourists wound up losing the game 11-5. Dexter Fowler hit his 5th home run, Eric Young stole his 61st base (but was also caught stealing for the 22nd time) and Cole Garner added his 24th stolen base. Daniel Carte also contributed 2 RBI.

Tri-City: Anthony Jackson singled in the winning run in 11th to lead the Dust Devils to the 5-4 victory. Jackson also hit his first home run in the 7th, a soloe shot. He had a total of 3 RBI in the game. McKenry and Berglund also had an RBI each. Josh Sullivan went 5 innings and K'ed 2. 9th round pick Will Harris picked up his 1st save.

Casper: Yull Silano's 2nd start went even better than his 1st one. In five innings he K'ed 7 and allowed only 1 R on 1 H. Shetrone, Hanna and Strop struck out 2 each. For the offense, Hector Gomez went 3-for-6 and had a double. Kevin Clark, Florida JuCo Player of the Year, hit his 3rd homer. Jay Cox had 2 hits, a double and 2 RBI. Austin Rauch also plated 2 runs.
