Friday Pebble Report

In Renck's latest mailbag, he mentions that the Yankees are interested in Shealy. It is also mentioned in this article.

Colorado Springs: Josh Wilson had three hits and a homer in the 2-1 victory. Justin Hampson went six innings, allowed no runs on five hits and K'ed one. Nate Field recorded his sixteenth save.

Tulsa: Off-day.

Modesto: Justin Nelson had three RBI and Corey Wimberly and Chris Frey each had three hits in the 10-5 loss. Wimberly also stole his thirty-fifth base. Franklin Morales lasted only three innings, allowed seven runs on eight hits, walked five and struck out three.  

Asheville: Cancelled. Rain.

Tri-City: Daniel Mayora drove in the second run of the ninth inning to lead the Dust Devils to  the 4-3 victory. Josh Sullivan pitched three and one-thirds innings, allowed one run on three hits and struck out eight. Alvin Hayes struck out six in three innings.

Casper: Ronny Lopez lasted three innings, allowed seven runs on nine hits and struck out two in the 12-6 loss. Steven Suarez had three hits, two homers and five RBI.
