Pebble Report Wednesday

Brad Hawpe is going to be on MLB.com's BaseballChannel Mid-Day show today. I'm putting up the unfinished post because the interview starts in a couple of minutes.

Colorado Springs: The Sky Sox used the long ball to beat Tucson again. Omar Quintanilla, Sean Barker and JD Closser all homered in the six to four victory. Q also tripled and Closser also doubled for Colorado Springs.

Tulsa: Joe Koshansky had two hits, including his thirty-first homerun and Jordan Czarniecki went three for five to pace the Driller offense and they were able to hang on to win seven to five.

Modesto: Ryan Mattheus came up with another gem as the Nuts won nine to nothing. Jonathan Herrera had two hits and two runs. Neil Wilson also had a pair of hits, two RBI and one run.

Asheville: Rained out again.

Tri-City: Aneury Rodriguez lost, and continued his recent woes. Aneury allowed eight runs in three and two-thirds. Michael McKenry had a couple of hits in the losing cause.

Casper: Casper gave it a good run, but still wound up losing nine to eight. Hector Gomez had a pair of hits, Helder Velazquez went three for six and David Christensen hit his fifth homerun.
