Friday's Pebble Report

The Springs: Denny Bautista picked up the win in the 8-6 victory, but he allowed twelve hits in six innings and four runs. He struck out three. Chris Iannetta hit a two-run home run and drove in three. Vinny Castilla recorded his first RBI.

Tulsa: A five-run first inninng was all the Drillers needed for the win but they added two more in the eighth to win 7-3. Doug Bernier had three RBI and Stewart one. Emmanuel Ulloa struck out seven in five innings.

Modesto: Visalia beat Modesto 13-11 last night. Neil Wilson drove in four and Jonathan Herrera drove in one on his sixth homer as part of his 5-for-5 night. He also stole his 32nd base. Chris Frey hit his second homer of the season. Samuel Deduno went two and a third innings, gave up seven runs and walked seven batters.

Asheville: Pedro Strop picked up his second win in the 5-4 victory. Alan Johnson started and allowed one run in five innings. Young (82) stole two bases, Fowler (37) stole three and Garner (32) stole two. Daniel Carte hit his 13th homer.

Tri-City: Andrew Kreidermacher went the distance, allowed one run on six hits and struck out four. He had twenty ground outs and three fly outs in the win.

Casper: Brandon Hynick went six innings, allowed two runs on three hits and struck out five. Everth Cabrera collected three hits and stole his 12th base. Kevin Clark had an RBI and walked three times.
