Game #108: Jeffrey Franchise vs. Matt Morris

Francis is coming off a nice July in which he went 3-2 with the first complete game shutout of his career. He had 1.85 ERA during his five starts that month and if all the runs he gave up had been earned, he would still have a nice 2.65 ERA for the month. Against the Giants this season, Francis is 1-1 in three starts (the first start was against Morris, who lasted only for two outs).

That two out performance by Morris has been his only start against the Rockies this season. In his last start, which was against the Pirates, he allowed no runs on six hits in six innings. However, he did not factor into the decision as he left before either team scored (the Pirates won in 10 innings).

Go Rockies!
