After Colorado was the only team in the division to lose yesterday, and particularly after Los Angeles won it's ninth game in a row, it has become apparent that to truly consider themselves successful on this road trip the Rockies have to come away with at least a 50-50 split out of the city of Angels.
The pitching match-ups, while mostly winable are going to be some of trickiest we'll face this month:
Fogg vs Penny
Kim vs Maddux
Franchise vs Lowe
Jennings vs Billingsley
To get through this stretch the offense will have to come alive right now. Particularly weak in the series with the Giants were our outfield bats, so we need to see Hawpe and Holliday start off right for me to have much confidence we won't get fleeced in LA.
