Saturday Pebble Report:

Colorado Springs: Won nine to one, largely due to two homers and a double from Jeff Baker and seven strong innings from Justin Hampson.

Tulsa: Lost ten to one to Wichita, the team managed only four hits.

Modesto: Lost eleven to three to Visalia. Corey Wimberly and Doc Brooks each had a pair of hits, Wimberly stole his forty-eighth base of the season.

Asheville: Shane Lindsay walked an astonishing eight batters in just five innings, but still held Augusta to two runs somehow before the Tourists relievers allowed three more in this five to four loss. Daniel Carte and Mike Paulk had a pair of hits each.

Tri-City: Lost to Boise, ten to five. Keith Weiser gave up seven runs in five innings. Michael McKenry and Hector Gomez each had three hits in the loss, one of McKenry's was his fourth homerun.

Casper: Lost to Ogden seven to one. Everth Cabrera, Maruis Loupadiere and Jay Cox each had a pair of hits.
