Tulsa:
The Drillers lost the opening game of their Texas League playoff series with Wichita last night, two to one, in eleven innings. Juan Morillo outduelled Zach Grienke, pitching seven scoreless innings with ten K's and only two walks, but the Driller pen couldn't hold the lead and the Driller bats couldn't break through. Alvin Colina was solely responsible for Tulsa's scoring with a solo homerun.

Tri-City:
Jeff Kindel drove in five runs with two doubles to lead the offense in a nine to two Dust-Devil win. Anthony Jackson had three hits and Hector Gomez had a pair of hits as well. Andrew Kreidermacher pitched his second complete game of the past month to earn the victory.
