Alright, fair warning: I didn't link this article this morning because it had me in tears and I didn't think it deserved to be just thrown in with the rest of what I was putting up. I just read it again, and again I'm getting emotional over it. I'm sure everybody here is aware of the Kyle Blakeman story and how important his number, 64, is as a lucky totem for the Rockies skipper and a club as a whole.
This article has the most complete depiction I've read of that story and it shows just how great as a man Clint Hurdle really is. We can still criticize his management, but I don't want to ever hear any personal attacks on this guy.
