Scouting Report / Bio: Imposing stature with wide, thick upper body; a more athletic looking Travis Hafner build. Unlike Hafner, Koshansky will stick in the field, with above average range defensively and soft hands at first. Koshansky's swing is long, but he has a patient approach at the plate and understands what pitches he can drive. Power to all fields, but primarily the right-center gap. Despite high strikeout totals, Koshansky has been able to hit for both average and power. Still has been a bit old for each level.
Future Outlook: MLB starter, but where and how much of his minor league totals will transfer are big questions.
