Sorry I'm a little late with this, a manicure ran over. At any rate, while what I wrote this morning about the difficulty of the schedule remains valid, it's also true that if the team digs itself too deep a hole early, climbing out will prove difficult given the challenge of the remaining teams in the division this year. The Dodgers come into tonight's game with a big gap on us, and a win will cut into that and bring them back to the field. Lopez thus far has proven one of our more effective starters both home and away, another start like his first two would be a very welcome sight.
Given that the Dodgers are resting Jeff Kent and Luis Gonzalez for tonight's game, I would think this a good opportunity to cut into the lead. Let's go Rockies!
