Colorado Springs: The PCL took a travel day on Wednesday, which combined with Tuesday's rain out, should leave the Sky Sox well rested for today's game.
Tulsa: Rain delayed, but didn't stop the deluge that the Drillers poured on the Travellers yesterday in a 7-2 victory. Jonathan Herrera continued his torrid season with four hit night. He did have two CS's and two E's, however, so he shouldn't get too haughty about it. Chris Frey also got aboard four times, with three hits and a walk. Ching Lung Lo pitched the first, but didn't return after the rain delay, so Zach Parker picked up the W.
Modesto: Brandon Hynick ran his scoreless inning streak to 23 with five more solid innings, but he watched his work disappear in the second consecutive Nuts bullpen implosion. This time, Pedro Strop was the unlikely culprit, allowing three of the five Lake Elsinore runs in just two thirds of an inning. Eric Young Jr stole his eleventh base of the season, which has him one behind the Cal League leaders.
Asheville: The Tourists also had the night off.
