Game #4: Hirsh vs. Maddux

New, comments

It's that time of year again: the first road tilt of the year. Hirsh faces 300-game winner and sure-fire Hall of Famer Greg Maddux to open his season. Hirsh made his Major League debut against the Padres last year, as the official site's preview will tell you. He'll want to have a quick start  to his season, much like 'Zona's Micah Owings. Owings made his debut about tonight and as of this posting he's gone 4 innings, allowed one hit and struck out 5 batters. Owings was drafted by the Rockies in 2002 out of high school but elected to honor his commitment to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The money earmarked for him went to signing Jeff Baker instead.

Over at Gaslamp Ball, Dex has been creating Miis on the Wii for his game threads. Take a look.
