The Cardinals have probably circled this date in their calendar as a reprieve when they might be able to start turning things around. I mean, I know I would look to a home series against a weak non-divisional foe as a chance to score some much needed wins. All this means for the Rockies, however, is that they shouldn't expect the opposition tonight to go away cowering in fear. With all the adversity St Louis has gone through this season, I can guarantee that the defending World Series champs still don't feel themselves a team at the bottom of the division. When in fact, early results indicate that they could wind up being one of the worst teams in the league this year. It's important that the Rockies keep kicking the Cards when their down, and while I know that means putting the beat down on a fellow USC alum, so be it.
