Thursday Pebble Report:

Colorado Springs: Deja Vu. Jayson Nix again had a four hit game against the 51's, this time with a homerun and double, and led the Sky Sox to a seven to four victory.

Tulsa: Fraklin Morales had another wild but effective outing, striking out seven in five innings, but walking three and throwing two wild pitches. Tulsa won two to one, after winning Tuesday night's suspended game, four to three.

Modesto: No game scheduled.

Asheville: No game scheduled.

Tri-City: Everth Cabrera and Helder Velzquez had two hits each again, but the Dust Devils lost seven to three. Pitcher Robinson Fabian only went four and a third, but he had some pretty solid peripherals in his K and GB rates, it will be interesting to watch how he develops.

Casper: Shane Lowe, Wilin Rosario and David Christensen hit Casper's first homeruns of the year, but the Rockies still lost to Idaho Falls. Juan Nicasio had a shaky debut, giving up four runs, but the 6/1 K/BB ratio in six innings is promising.

Update [2007-6-21 16:15:54 by Russ]: Futures Game rosters announced: Ian Stewart made the U.S. team and Franklin Morales made the World team.
