Game #95: Jimenez vs Chico

Last season the Rockies swept Washington in four game series both at RFK and at Coors Field in ridiculously dominating fashion. To expect the same this season is a bit much, but the team should come out with at least a split, and a three to one series win will give us a seven to three road trip and some much needed momentum heading into the homestand against the Padres and Dodgers. It's nice of the team to let Jimenez start his MLB season against the Nationals rather than one of those two clubs.

Chico's definitely a beatable opponent, and his tendency to give up the longball is what usually gets him in trouble this year. Let's hope our mashers continue to break out the bats and keep the streak we started in Pittsburgh alive tonight.

Go Rockies!
