Tulsa, W 5-4 - Brandon Hynick turned in a much better start this time out. He went seven innings and allowed two runs on five hits. He struck out one. Casey Weathers blew the save in the ninth after allowing two runs on two hits and a walk. The game-tying run crossed the plate on a Corey Wimberly fielding error.
The Drillers won this game in the bottom of the ninth on a bases-loaded walk. Corey Wimberly led off the inning with a double. Neil Wilson had a sac bunt to move Wimberly over to second. EY Jr. and Dexter Fowler were both intentionally walked. Jeff Kindel walked, sending Wimberly to home. Junior had two hits and an RBI in the game, while Wimberly had a double as one of his two hits.

Jeff Cunningham struck the big blow last night with a three-run homer in the eighth inning, his first of the season. Kevin Clark hit his second homer of the season. Mike Mitchell had stole two hits and stole his base. Brian Rike struck out three times.
