Purple Row is proud to announce that two weekly columnists have been added to the staff. The decision to add these writers evolved out of several comments in my entry announcing the search for new general writers. That search continues, but it's time to announce our two new weekly columnists:

RockiesMagicNumber will write a column titled "Counting Rocks: The Numbers Behind the Names." You'll see this column on Wednesdays starting today.
- And in what might possibly be a bit of favoritism on my part (and that's a joke . . . or not), Silverblood will check in on Sundays with a recap of the week that was in Rockies baseball ("Rockies Review: ______").
