Spring Training Game #5: Aaron Cook vs. Zach Jackson

Colorado (0-4) vs. Cleveland (1-3)

1:05 MST Goodyear Park

Well, so far it hasn't been good news for the Rockies offensively, as they've hit just .216 in their first four spring training games--scoring only 12 runs in the process. The Rockies haven't been any better on the mound or on defense, giving up 27 runs and having committed several errors already.

However, the Rockies have a chance to start March off on a strong note as they make their first visit the 1-3 Cleveland Indians at brand new Goodyear Park in southwest Phoenix.

Also scheduled to pitch for the Rockies are Ubaldo Jimenez in his last action before going off to practice with the Dominican team for the WBC, Taylor Buchholz, Ryan Speier, and Cedrick Bowers. Cook and Jimenez are slotted to throw three innings each today, so maybe the Rockies have a shot even with the punchless lineup they've got lined up.

In their bullpen: Jeremy Sowers, Rich Rundles, Jensen Lewis, Vinnie Chulk, Kirk Saarloos, Jack Cassel, John Meloan, Juan Salas and Tomo Okha. I'm not sure who's throwing today of those guys.
