The Rockies (1-1) look to take the rubber game of their three-game series against the Diamondbacks (1-1). After a crazy first game that saw a combined eight homers hits, the second game featured Troy Tulowitzki's second homer of the season and a dominant performance by Ubaldo Jimenez. Today, the Rockies turn to Franklin Morales to take a series against the D'Backs, something the team did not do at all last season.
In 2008, the Rockies hoped Morales and Jimenez would lead the Rockies back to the playoffs, but only Jimenez turned into a bonafide major league starter. 2009 will be Frankie's year.
The Diamondbacks turn to Double-D, Doug Davis.
I'll be around for an inning or two before heading off to see Rocco DeLuca and the Burden. Not sure who will do the overflow threads, but theoldgrizzlybear will have the game wrap.
