Tulsa, W 5-3: Jhoulys Chacin had an interesting night on the mound by taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning. He went 5 2/3 innings, allowing a run on two hits and striking out seven. He also walked four batters and had an 8-2 GO-FO. Three of the four walks came in the fifth inning, and the run scored that inning on an HBP. Shane Lindsay struck out two batters in his inning of work.

Modesto, L 0-4: Kenny Durst had a rude start to the game last night. In the first two innings, he allowed three runs, two on a first-inning home run. He'd go another two innings to finish the night with this line: 4 IP, 3 H, 3/2 R/ER, 4 BB, 2 K, 1 HR. Randall Taylor pitched the next three innings, allowed one run on three hits and a walk, and struck out three. Sean Jarrett struck out two in the eighth.
The offense managed five singles.
Asheville, L 3-6: The sixth inning was a tough one for the Tourists. Dan Houston, who went 5 1/3 innings, allowed three runs and Tyler Trice allowed another run to put Charleston in the lead for good. Houston walked three and struck out five in the game. Isaiah Froneberger allowed two more runs but struck out six over three innings.
Erik Wetzel went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and Jordan Pacheco collected two more hits, hitting .408 on the season.
