The Rockies try to avoid turning what already qualifies as an awful series into an outright disaster and a four game sweep at the hands of the Astros. The starting pitching matchup does not seem to portend success, but this is the kind of scenario that a young pitcher like Hammel can step up in.
We need it to be "Stopper Hammel Time" rather than "Please, stop Hammel time before it kills us."
