Game 130: Jason Marquis vs. Barry Zito

As Rox Girl pointed out the Giants have a much more difficult finishing kick than do the Rockies. As such, should the Rockies win this game (and they should), Colorado would be slamming the door shut on San Francisco's Wild Card aspirations--plus putting a little more pressure on the Dodgers. A loss here and tomorrow would tie the two teams up for the Wild Card lead--certainly not an ideal situation.

Luckily, the Rockies have their stopper, Jason Marquis (14-8, 3.47 ERA, 3.94 FIP), going tonight. The Giants will counter with their $126 million man, Barry Zito (8-11, 4.09 ERA, 4.25 FIP), who has pitched well this month (2-1, 2.17 ERA, 3.60 FIP).
