Game 144: Jason Marquis vs. Clayton Richard

This afternoon the Rockies look to bounce back and win this road series after last night's tough loss. On the hill Colorado has their All-Star, Jason Marquis, looking for his 16th win of the season.

The Rockies seem to have more troubles with left-handed pitching (they are just 24-22 against southpaws while they are 58-39 against righties), as many of their best bats are lefties. My theory is that the Rockies are a little too reactionary to left-handed starters, playing inferior players (*cough* Garrett Atkins *cough*) in place of better bats simply because they are right-handed. We'll see if this trend continues today.

I'm okay with this lineup, though I'd prefer Iannetta and Stewart to start against Richard.
