The San Francisco Giants. The Texas Rangers. The World Series. The former makes its first World Series appearance since 2002, when they lost to the Anaheim Angels in seven games. The latter makes its first World Series appearance ever. Time for the Giants to make the most out of homefield advantage since the National League won it at the All-Star game--finally.
I guess Texas needs a distraction right about now with the Cowboys struggling mightily and Tony Romo out for 6-8 weeks. What better way than to watch some October baseball? Baseball magic could be in the air for the Rangers by the end of the month, but I'm still pulling for the Giants to edge this one out in six.
Just in case you didn't know, Cliff Lee has been outstanding this postseason. Just take a look at this chart. OK, the Rangers have the advantage in this game.
