A couple of days after picking up the NL Players Choice Award, Carlos Gonzalez added another one to his case, this time winning the same award for the entire league, beating out Josh Hamilton and Joey Votto. It wasn't the only piece of hardware CarGo earned yesterday, as he also took home the Luis Aparicio Award for the best Venezuelan major leaguer. Hopefully this won't be the last of the awards that the Rockies' star outfielder receives for 2010.

Good news on the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick front, as the facility is scheduled to be finished on February 1st, which is very much in time for pitchers and catchers to report. Speaking of which, that's now about three and a half months away. I don't know what I'm going to do without the Rockies for over 100 days. #bummed
