Today marks Livan Hernandez's 26th career start against the Rockies, not counting the eight he threw against the team while wearing our uniform in 2008. Ouch, okay that was probably a low blow, but I do not have fond memories of his stint with us. That .345/.399/.570 line our actual opponents had against him might have something to do with it. Somewhat surprisingly, 2009 was the first season since 1997 that the Rockies didn't see Hernandez, so this will be his first start against Colorado since playing with them.
Meanwhile, opposing him will be one Ubaldo Jimenez who did pretty decently his last time out on Saturday night.
