At last, the episode is live! Oh... it's actually still earlier than usual. Huh. Anyway, technical difficulties averted.
Welcome to episode #14 of Rowbot Radio! On this edition, Andrew and I discuss the adventures in weather and transactions this past week, our thoughts on Jeff Francis before his start, the departure of Shane Lindsay, and the Phillies binocular shenanigans.
Two notes:
- I speculated that Greg Smith would be optioned down this week when Francis arrived. As we now know after the fact, it was Matt Daley that got the demotion. I just wanted to clarify that before anyone got confused.
- Both of us were somewhat pessimistic about Francis' reintroduction (Andrew a bit moreso than I). We're obviously excited Francis did well in his return, and you can all celebrate by listening to us sound like complete fools predicting he will get hit around a bit.
In summary: what a week.
