Really. There's still time to fix this thing. I guess if you're wanting some serious analysis: something that's striking to me is that in the last ten games, this is the tenth different lineup that Jim Tracy's tried. That's as far back as I counted. What I'm suggesting is that in his fishing quest to figure out what's working, maybe he's not realizing that it's the fishing that's not working. At some point you've got to pick your players, put them in and let them play. I don't care if they're my favorites, just try picking a lineup and sticking with it for awhile.
The inability of Rockies pitchers to dispatch second division hitters (the bottom of the Astros lineup, for instance) is also a bit disconcerting. Humberto Quintero and Tommy Manzella had all five of the Astros RBI today. I don't have a real answer there and would suggest it's probably bad luck, but if they are letting up, it's a problem.
