OVERFLOW THREAD
So the good news is we are not facing Roy Oswalt, as Philly fans had hoped. The bad news is....well, you know. Jeff, we could use a reprise of your start in Miami.
Rockies fans remember Happ dominating the Rockies last year, and for good reason. But (hopefully) this is not the same guy. Even though he hasn't allowed an earned run this season, he hasn't pitched at the MLB level in over three months, and his walk rate was terrible in those two.
In three AA rehab starts, Happ had an 8.03 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 6.03 FIP. His five AAA starts weren't much better, coming in at 4.84, 1.83, and 5.03.
