John Ely had a pretty good run in May when he went 3-1, 2.18 ERA in five starts. Batters finally caught up with him over the next month and a half, and then he went to the minors until making a start on Sept. 11. Ely was a teammate's of former Rockies prospect Connor Graham at Miami University.
