Saturday Rockpile: Dexter Fowler is Really Good at Predicting the Future

Very early this morning, the NBA tentatively agreed on a deal that should put the players on the court on Christmas Day. As that news broke, Rockies CF Dexter Fowler was all over Twitter, patting himself on the back (along with many others), as his tweet from a couple of days ago about the NBA being back has now been validated.

Since Dex has shown himself to be quite the predictor of the unknown, here is a list of five (technically) things that I hope he DOES NOT predict for the upcoming Rockies baseball season (with Twitter character limits enforced, of course):

@DFowler24: Word is the Rox have signed my friend and teammate Kevin Millwood to a 3-yr contract! Let's go get 'em!

@DFowler24: My magic 8-ball says I'll be back in AAA by May 15th! Let's get ready to paint the streets, Colorado Springs!

@DFowler24: We're going to turn around this 10-35 record in no time now that our old buddy Garrett Atkins is back on board!

@DFowler24: Good news - I'm going to set the major league record for triples in a single season!

@DFowler24: Bad news - I'll be hitting from the 8-spot in the order and Jonathan Herrera & vs-LHP-only Seth Smith will be hitting in front of me.

@DFowler24: It's sad that Drew Pomeranz and Jhoulys Chacin are going down in June, but I really think that bringing back Cookie will help. Solid move.
