Does anybody else ever feel bad about trouncing a team on their home opener? I mean, I don't ever want to give up the win, but for their fans' sake, I kind of wish the game had been closer. Oh, well.
COME DISCUSS THE GAME IN THE OVERFLOW
Since joining the Colorado Rockies, De La Rosa has made 5 starts against the Pirates, going 2-1 over 31 innings to the tune of a 3.19 ERA, striking out 36 and walking 11.
On the flip side, Ohlendorf has made 4 starts vs Colorado, going 1-1 over 17.2 IP, a 5.09 ERA, 12 K and 3BB.
Troy Tulowitzki, Carlos Gonzalez, Todd Helton, Chris Iannetta, and Seth Smith have all hit Ohlendorf well in their limited exposure to him, all OPSing 1.000 or better.
That said, Matt Diaz, Andrew McCutchen, and Neil Walker have all OPSed 1.000 or better against De La Rosa, so take that for what you will.
