Game 77: Juan Nicasio vs. Ivan Nova

The Rockies suck on Sundays this year. They're just 2-9 on the date so far -- and they've lost their last 9 Sunday games after winning the first two. I think it's my fault (given that the only game thread/wrap I post is on Sunday. So I apologize to all Rockies fans. Can they finally win a Sunday rubber match (and continue their series-winning streak)?

The odds aren't bad. I mean, there's a right-hander on the mound for the Yankees, so the best hitters will be playing for Colorado. There's a high-octane pitcher going for the Rockies who has shutdown, strikeout potential. And there's the fact that this is interleague play and the Rockies aren't playing the Royals.

It sure would be swell if you could win this one, Rockies. I hate writing about losses.
