Nicasio's last start vs the Braves went about as well as one would expect, given the tragedy that entire series was. Nicasio went 2.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits, 3 walks, but he did manage 4 strikeouts. He struggled to locate for strikes, and when he did, the Braves beat them all over the park. This is a great opportunity for Nicasio to rebound strongly.
Narveson, on the other hand, is coming off of a great start against the Reds, going 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits while striking out 5 and walking 2. The Rockies seem to have trouble with...pitchers... so let's hope they can take some of that confidence they gained against Gallardo and apply that to Narveson.
