Game 108: Juan Nicasio vs. Wade LeBlanc

The Rockies are going for the sweep today against the Padres -- it would be their first 3 game sweep all year. Stop me if you've heard this one before. Forgive me if I'm not chipper for this one. The confluence of the Ubaldo Jimenez trade and the fact that Colorado hasn't won on Sunday for 104 days (14 losses and counting) have not made me a happy camper.

Today it's Juan Nicasio's turn to try and break the Sunday hex. In Petco Park, against a middling end of rotation starter in Wade LeBlanc, he's got a pretty good shot theoretically. If the Rockies do win, it will be their longest winning streak (4 games) in over a month. If they get to five it will be the longest since April.

If Colorado loses today, I'm officially going on strike from game threads/wraps.
