Instead, let's talk about something else. I saw "Perks of Being a Wallflower" Friday. It has rave reviews currently and a preliminary iMDB rating putting it in the top 50 movies all time (if the rating holds, which it won't). It was very, very good though, and (I think) much better than the book.
So let's go with that....
Tell me any movies that are better than the book. I haven't read The Notebook, but that seems to be a popular choice for this distinction. Anything else?
