In the midst of an eight game losing streak, the Rockies have the perfect remedy...going away from a stadium in which they've scored 6.25 runs per game and out on the road, where the figure has been a much more pedestrian 3.5 runs per game!
Jeff Francis will try to do much better than his abysmal return to Colorado. If you subscribe to the theory that it's Coors Field's fault, then you should expect Francis to not be terrible. Fingers crossed!
Then again, Casey Crosby isn't exactly Justin Verlander either. He'll be making his 3rd career start tonight (he has a 9.35 ERA through 2). Man, this guy is 7 months younger than me. I am an underachiever.
Hopes are not high, but it will be interesting to at least see different rules for the first time this year.
