The other LA team visits Coors Field this weekend, and Rockies fans can only hope for a repeat of last week's Dodgers series. Given the pitching match-up tonight, a victory isn't too likely, but like I've said many times before, baseball is weird. Also, the Rockies have been killing it at Coors lately.
Wilson was LA's $77.5 million off-season acquisition, and he's been pretty good so far -- hurling 71 innings at a 2.54 ERA and 1.13 WHIP while striking out 8 per 9 innings.
Meanwhile, Alex White is coming off arguably his best outing in the Show. Let's hope that he can continue this trend tonight against a very tough LA heart of the order (Pujols, Trumbo, Trout, Morales).
Games in this series start at a much more reasonable time than they did on the West Coast.
An overflow thread is scheduled for 8:15.
