Alex White allowed 3 runs in the first inning of his 5-inning night and another in the 4th, bringing his PCL record to 1-4 and ERA to 4.01. White gave up 6 hits, walking 4 and striking out 4, but did get 6 groundouts to 2 flyouts.
Andrew Brown had 2 more hits on the night, bringing his season average up to .307. Ramon Hernandez went 0-for-2 with a walk in his 3PA before being lifted as part of a double switch.
AA Tulsa Drillers (4-8, 3rd Texas League North)
Drillers 4, Missions 2
Solid night for the Drillers' pitching staff. Parker Frazier threw 6 innings of 2-run ball, allowing 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2. Michael Marbry, Will Harris, and Coty Woods all threw scoreless innings of their own to hold the 2-run drillers lead.
At the plate, Josh Rutledge and Corey Dickerson both notched 3-hit days, both scoring a run for Tulsa. Nolan Arenado, and Ben Paulsen both had 2 hits, and aside from a Michael Mitchell 2-RBI PH single, that was it for the Drillers hitting.
A+ Modesto Nuts (10-5, 1st California League North)
Nuts 6, Giants 2
Christian Bergman had no time for the Giants tonight. Bergman pitched an out into the 8th, striking out 4, and only gave up 6 hits and a walk to the Giants, along with 1 unearned run. Isaiah Froneberger allowed a run to the Giants in the 9th, but also struck out 2. Froneberger and Bergman both are posting a 3.11 ERA at this point in the season.
Everybody in the Nuts lineup recorded at least 1 hit with the exceptions of DH Kyle Parker and RF Juan Crousset. MegaProspect Brett Tanos batted 3rd, had 2 hits, an RBI, and walked twice as well. 3B Jayson Langfels continues to have a strong season in Modesto, batting over .300 (.850 OPS).
A Asheville Tourists (8-7, 3rd South Atlantic League Southern)
Tourists 5, GreenJackets 1
Jordan Ribera, Joey Wong, and Rosell Herrera all had 2-hit days, and Trevor Story added a double in support of Chris Jensen's marvelous outing. Jensen pitched an out into the 9th, striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 7 hits, all leading to only 1 unearned run.
In addition to the hits, Taylor Featherston walked twice, scored, and drove in a run in his outing at DH. Will Swanner also went hitless over 3AB, but did walk and was driven in once.
A- Tri City Dust Devils (9-12, 2nd Northwest League East)

Dust Devils Starter TJ Oakes nearly wriggled his way out of the 5th inning after allowing 4 runs on 8 hits. Ryan Arrowood pitched 3 innings of relief, allowing 1 run while striking out 2. Clinging to a 6-5 lead, Brook Hart came in for the save, and then this inning happened:

The Devils got hits out of every lineup slot, excepting C Michael Ramirez and 2B Yafistel Roja, both of whom have struggled thus far in the NWL. All said and done, the Devils mustered 6 runs on 13 hits, the Hawks 7 on 14.
Rk Grand Junction Rockies (9-9, t2nd Pioneer League South)
Rockies 4, Chukars 1
The Rockies notched their 4 runs on 8 hits and 6 walks. Ben Waldrip and Juan Ciriaco both had multi hit days, and Matt Wessinger, Ryan Garvey, Correlle Prime, and Wilfredo Rodriguez all recorded a hit as well. David Dahl went 0-for-2, but did walk twice in the game. Wessinger did hit a 2-run shot in the bottom of the 5th, driving in Ciriaco, and drove in Rodriguez on a 3rd inning groundout.
On the mound, Johendi Jiminian pitched 3 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out a batter, dropping his season ERA to 4.50. Jesse Meaux earned his 3rd save of the season with a perfect 9th.
