Game 157: Jeff Francis vs. Clayton Kershaw

The Rockies look to put the nail in the coffin of the Dodgers' playoff hopes.

Today the Rockies get to have their moment on SportsCenter. Namely, they are trying to put the nail in the coffin of the Dodgers' fleeting playoff hopes. LA currently is 3 games out of the final wild card spot with only 6 games to play, meaning that any loss to the Rockies will probably kill their chances. After all the misery they have provided to Colorado and their fans, I for one could not be more excited to show them how that feels.

It will be a tall task though, as Colorado faces a (limited) Clayton Kershaw. Then again, the Rockies just really have to win at least one of these games to accomplish their spoiler goal (and avoid 100 losses), so the odds are in their favor.
