The Rockies take on Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers in this afternoon's game.

USA TODAY Sports

With only three more weeks until the beginning of the season, Colorado takes on the long-time nemesis Dodgers in Arizona. Jeff Francis says that he still needs to work on fastball command and getting ahead in counts and it will be interesting to see if he can keep his scoreless streak going. Meanwhile, the Dodgers are sending Clayton Kershaw to the mound. This has sparked Walt Weiss to start an exclusively right handed lineup that is missing only Eric Young and Troy Tulowitzki from being a possible regular season lineup against lefties. Lineup for the two teams:

Los Angeles

1. Dee Gordon (L) SS

2. Skip Schumaker (L) 2B

3. Matt Kemp (R) CF

4. Juan Uribe (R) 1B

5. Elian Herrera (S) 3B

6. A.J. Ellis (R) C

7. Alex Castellanos (R) RF

8. Alfredo Amezaga (S) LF

9. Clayton Kershaw (L) P

Colorado

1. Dexter Fowler (S) CF

2. Josh Rutledge (R) 2B

3. Michael Cuddyer (R) RF

4. Wilin Rosario (R) C

5. Chris Nelson (R) 3B

6. DJ LeMahieu (R) SS

7. Henry Wrigley (R) 1B

8. Kyle Parker (R) LF

9. Jeff Francis (L) P

Game time is 2:00 p.m. MDT and is the first Sunday game being televised by Root Sports and by mlb.com. Please join in the discussion and camaraderie as we see the team work its way into season shape. USA will be playing Canada at the same time in an elimination game so there should be at least two games to discuss.
