Game No. 13: Dillon Gee Vs. Juan Nicasio

New, 821 comments

The Mets and Rockies look to make up lasts night's snowed out contest this afternoon in Denver.

Okay, here's the deal. The Rockies are likely to get at least one if not both games of today's scheduled double header in against the Mets. Temperatures have climbed above freezing and the radar currently looks encouraging.

However, last night's snowstorm buried all of Coors Field under several inches of snow and the organization has been working hard all day to get it cleared. Here is what the scene looked like earlier this morning.

As of right now, the Rockies hope to get the first pitch off at around 2:30 local time (80 minutes late) according to Tracy Ringolsby of Root Sports.

It doesn't look to be a great day for baseball weather wise as temperatures should remain in the 30's for the majority of the next 12 hours, but as long as there's not much coming out of the sky, these games will be played as Wednesday's forecast still calls for more accumulating snow.
