This is one of the best things about baseball; the Rockies lost yesterday, but they get to come back and try again today.
They say momentum is tomorrow's starting pitcher, so the Rockies will be looking for momentum in the form of Jorge De La Rosa. After the 2010 season, De La Rosa was signed to a 2-year, $21 million contract with the expectation that he would be an anchor at or near the top of the Rockies rotation. However, he has thrown just 69 2/3 innings since signing the deal, having undergone Tommy John Surgery in May 2011. He made just three rather uninspiring starts near the end of 2012, so the Rockies will be looking for a return to form in 2013.
The Brewers counter with Marco Estrada, who threw more than 100 innings for the first time in his career in 2012, posting a 3.64 ERA,
The only other lineup change for either team is Yorvit Torrealba replacing Wilin Rosario behind the plate for the Rockies.
