Yesterday was not a good day for Colorado sports teams. The Rockies losing both games of a double header was just the beginning, as the Nuggets laid a brick in game two of their first round playoff series against Golden State. As both teams look to head off on road trips, hopefully today will be a brighter day in Colorado.
With the sun coming out and tempatures getting near 50, it would be nice for the Rockies bats to heat up too. In this, their second 3 game losing streak of the season, the Rockies have managed 4, 3, and 2 runs. That won't win most games at Coors Field. Luckily for the Rockies, this is the 21st game so we get our number one starter...oh wait he's on the DL. Well, at least we will be able to see what Tyler Chatwood has learned so far down in Colorado Springs. I had high hopes for Tyler last year as he had a pretty good debut with the Angels before being traded to the Rockies. Unfortunately, he couldn't find the strike zone last year which led to a bad record and ERA. So far in AAA, though, he has looked better and he is facing an older Tim Hudson who hasn't rounded into form yet this year. Now for the rest of the lineups:
