After narrowly avoiding a sweep at the hands of the Atlanta Braves by rallying late against the great Craig Kimbrel, the Colorado Rockies are taking their show on the road. They play tonight in the deserts of Arizona, against a 12 and 9 Diamondbacks team. The D-Backs are a solid club, with no obvious weaknesses around the diamond and an above average rotation. The Rockies will have to bring their A game to earn a series win against their NL West rivals.
Jorge De La Rosa will be looking to continue his strong start to the season as he take the hill tonight for the Rockies. He hasn't allowed a run in 17 consecutive innings. He'll be opposed by Trevor Cahill, the sinkerballing specialist. Cahill's last start came against the Rockies in Colorado, when he went seven innings while giving up four runs (three earned).
The Rockies' lineup will feature a new face today in the recently called-up Ryan Wheeler, who was acquired from the Diamondbacks during the off season. He's replacing Todd Helton on the roster, as the elder statesman hits the 15 day DL with a forearm injury. Get well soon Todd.

De La Rosa needs to watch out against this righty-heavy lineup. Especially against Cody Ross. People named Cody are not to be trusted.
