A repeat performance from Tyler Chatwood would be nothing to complain about for the Rockies. Chatwood takes on the Giants for his second consecutive start, his last start in which he worked 5.2 innings allowing one run was just what the Rockies need from him.

The Rockies exercised some demons in the last home stand against San Francisco, but beating them in AT&T Park has remained an elusive accomplishment. Winning there could not only vault the Rockies into sole possession of first place (depending on what the Diamondbacks do) but it could go a long way in proving that the Rockies are legitimate contenders.

Opposing the Rockies will be Tim Lincecum who was roughed up by the Rockies in his last start. Lincecum has been a bit of an enigma recently, but given his track record don't expect him to roll over.

Michael Cuddyer has been re-activated and will assume his customary role in the five-hole. Nolan Arenado will bat second as Weiss shakes up the lineup ever so slightly with the return of Cuddyer and LeMahieu's recent promotion.
