The Rockies look to win the series on Father's day as Jhoulys Chacin takes the hill against Cole Hamels.

The Rockies began a 10 game home stand with aspirations of recapturing the division lead. Entering the 10th and final game the Rockies have gone just 4-5, but thanks to Arizona's mediocre play the Rockies have actually gained a game on the division leaders, going from 2.5 back to 1.5 back.

The offense has come alive for Colorado in both games against the Phillies, but another productive offensive day may be difficult against Philadelphia starter Cole Hamels. Hamels enter's the game 2-9 with a 4.45 ERA, but he has gone at least six innings and allowed two or less runs in each of his last four starts.

Current Rockies have not had much success against Hamels and Cole owns a 3-1 record and 3.32 ERA against Colorado. The good news for Rockies fans is that Chacin has been brilliant against the Phils.

Chacin, in 22.1 innings has gone 1-0 against Philadelphia with a 1.21 ERA. Chacin battled through five innings against Washington in his last start, but he was pitching with a cold. Chacin has been unable to avoid the big inning since coming off the DL, but facing the Phillies could be just what he needs to get back on track.

Dexter Fowler is back in the lineup after missing the last couple games with a hand injury.

Chris Volstad was optioned back down to Colorado Springs after struggling in his brief return, he will be replaced by Logan Kensing.
