Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria is responsible for the following:
- A team whose average attendance is dead-last in baseball a year after opening a shiny new ballpark.
- The Marlins' 35-61 record, which is happening a year after the team was the trendy pick to win the National League East.
- The demise of the Expos.
- Ripping off all taxpayers in Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami to build the aforementioned ballpark, which can pretty much be deemed useless at this point.
But hey, at least they're not run by the Monforts, who continue to unfairly be categorized as the worst owners in baseball by Colorado Rockies fans and the Denver media. I don't get it.
Go to Fish Stripes for more on the Marlins and their own narrative-filled analysis of the Rockies pitching staff (which, maybe they'll be right about when the season is over, but "hapless" shouldn't be used to describe Colorado's rotation right now).
